Following completion of initial construction we were again contracted to perform our service for the $35 million dollar, 200,000-square-foot expansion. Our team stationed up to 6 inspectors on site at times to meet our clients’ needs and ensure project specifications were adhered to.
Contracted to perform construction materials testing, special inspection, as well as geotechnical support for the $18.1 million dollar removal and reconstruction of the airstrip at the Yakima Training Center. This project required up to 4 inspectors on site and full-time dedicated laboratory personnel performing well over 500+ gradations, Atterbergs, and hydrometers. Our engineers provided solutions to help our clients navigate unsuitable materials resulting in successful completion of the airstrip with minimal project delays.
Contracted to perform the quality control services for the $20 million dollar FAA Moses Lake Airport project. This project included approximately 460,000 CY of Unclassified Excavation, 100,000 CY of Embankment, 50,000 CY of Aggregate Base Course, 2,500 SY of Reinforced Concrete Pavement, and 80,000 tons of hot mix asphalt. Schedule demands required up to 3 full-time on site inspectors as well as an on site mobile laboratory and technician. The project was successfully completed resulting in a positive pay factor for our client.
Contracted to perform the geotechnical site investigation as well as CMT services during construction. The $5 million dollar renovation and addition project provided the Ellensburg Police Department additional offices, workspace, as well as an indoor firing range.

Our initial site explorations included 8 hollow-stem auger borings as well as 5 vacuum truck excavated sites. Contracted to perform the geotechnical investigation for the Vista Field Development project. Our team performed 24 test pit explorations on the 103-acre site. The project consisted of removing the former general aviation airfield and redeveloping the site to include a mix of residential options, civic amenities, entertainment, and recreation activities.
Contracted to perform the concrete testing on the $15.2 million dollar JF Tunnel project at the Cle Elum Dam. The project constructed a 10’ Diameter fish passage tunnel over 1200’ long. Our inspectors performed field inspections to ensure the concrete quality was maintained.
